Author: A reader of our blog sent us a link to another incredibly informative site, which we want to share with you here.? The site, IDEAMoneyWatch.com, tracks where the federal special education dollars are going and how they are being spent.? See http://www.ideamoneywatch.com/main/.
Of particular note was the article found at http://ideamoneywatch.com/balancesheet/?p=15 titled, “OSEP?s Responsible Request.”? This article includes information about the increased special education funding resulting from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
We’ve subscribed to this site’s RSS feed and look forward to seeing new information as it comes out.? Because, as the site says, “… we need to know where the money goes.”
